Noelle Schlegel, PT, DPT, Cert-DN, CMTPT holds a Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Physical Therapy from the University of MD School Medicine, and a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from the College of St. Scholastica.
Dr. Schlegel has a particular interest in kinesthetic and movement therapy and has undergone yoga teacher training through the Yoga and Ayurveda Center to earn her status as a Registered Yoga Teacher as well as a Certified Ayurveda Specialist and Certified Meditation Instructor.
In 2019, Dr. Schlegel founded Schlegel Holistic Physiotherapy, a private practice in Baltimore, where she specializes in myofascial work and dry needling in the treatment of adult yogis, musicians, and sports enthusiasts.
Currently, Dr. Schlegel specializes in the treatment of adult patients with headaches, running injuries, fibromyalgia, TMJ disorders, Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, sports injuries, orthopedic pain (neck, back, shoulders, hips), and women’s pelvic pain.
Dr. Schlegel has earned several different certifications in dry needling, most recently through Myopain Seminars with Jan Dommerholt to earn her CMTPT. She is recognized as a specialized practitioner of dry needling by the Maryland Board of Physical Therapy Examiners.
